Terms of Service

1. Who we are

ASIS ("we", "us", "our") is a marketplace for pre-loved clothes and finds, operated from the United Kingdom and available at asiswebsite.shop and through the ASIS app.

By creating an account, browsing, listing, or buying on ASIS you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use ASIS.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything that happens on your account.

Provide accurate information when you sign up. We may suspend or close accounts that use false details or break these terms.

3. Selling on ASIS

You may only list items you own and have the right to sell. Listings must describe the item honestly, including its condition, flaws, size, and brand.

Counterfeit, stolen, recalled, or otherwise illegal items are strictly prohibited and will be removed. Repeat offenders will be banned.

Sellers are responsible for posting items promptly after a sale and for accurate dispatch information.

4. Buying on ASIS

When you buy an item you enter a contract with the seller. ASIS provides the marketplace and payment flow but is not the seller of the item.

Check photos, condition notes, and sizing carefully before you buy. If an item arrives significantly not as described, contact us and we will help resolve it.

5. Fees and membership

ASIS charges zero commission on sales for both standard sellers and members. Optional payout or payment-processing charges may apply and are shown before you confirm.

Membership costs £9.99 per month or £99 per year. Membership is optional and can be cancelled at any time; it remains active until the end of the paid period.

Member benefits — such as extra saved searches, storefront themes, selling tools, analytics, promoted-listing credit, early access, and priority customer service — may change over time. We will tell members before removing a benefit.

Early supporters who joined the launch waitlist receive a free lifetime membership, as promised at sign-up.

6. Content and conduct

You keep ownership of the photos and text you upload, but you give ASIS a licence to show them on the marketplace and in ASIS marketing.

Do not post anything abusive, discriminatory, misleading, or spammy. Do not scrape the site, interfere with other users, or attempt to circumvent fees or safety systems.

7. Liability

ASIS is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, especially while the platform is newly launched.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

To the extent permitted by law, ASIS is not liable for losses arising from transactions between users, beyond what our buyer-resolution process covers.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as ASIS grows. We will give reasonable notice of material changes by email or in-app notice.
