1. What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash).

Profile and shop details you choose to add, such as a username, photo, bio, and storefront theme.

Listings, messages, saved searches, favourites, and purchase and sale history.

Payment information is processed by our payment provider; ASIS does not store your full card numbers.

Technical data such as device type, browser, approximate location, and how you use the app, used to keep ASIS secure and improve it.

2. How we use your data

To run the marketplace: creating your account, showing your listings, processing orders, and enabling messages between buyers and sellers.

To provide membership benefits such as saved-search alerts, analytics, and promoted-listing credit.

To keep ASIS safe: preventing fraud, enforcing our terms, and resolving disputes.

To contact you about your account, orders, and — only if you opt in — news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.

3. Who we share it with

Other users see what you choose to make public: your shop, listings, and reviews.

Buyers and sellers see the details needed to complete a transaction (for example a delivery address).

Service providers who help us run ASIS (hosting, payments, email, analytics) under contracts that protect your data.

Authorities where the law requires it.

We never sell your personal data.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account we remove or anonymise your personal data, except where we must keep records for legal, tax, or dispute reasons.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email support.service@asis.website. We respond within one month.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security in our database. No system is perfect, but we treat the safety of your data as a core part of the product.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as ASIS grows; material changes will be flagged by email or in-app notice.
